Slitting Mill Victory Hall
Slitting Mill is a hamlet of fewer than 400 people and around 155 dwellings, one and a quarter miles west of Rugeley on the very edge of Cannock Chase in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), the smallest of its kind on the mainland.
Slitting Mill Victory Hall is owned by the residents of Slitting Mill, not by any private individual or the council, ensuring that your voice matters in its management. In past years, we have worked hard to keep the hall functioning while enhancing the experience for our hirers. This included the current completion of our 'REPAIR & RENEW' project that has seen us complete the renovation of the whole hall. from top to bottom.
We are also thrilled to have appointed New Trustees, New Committee members and an enthusiastic Social Committee who are all dedicated to the future running of our hall.. As we are a small team though, we are always looking for new Volunteers, Committee Members and Trustees. We are a friendly and dedicated bunch of local residents who would gratefully appreciate any extra help or support. We have a variety of regular hirers eager to welcome new attendees as well.
